Responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with casino management while providing excellent customer service and a high-quality live-broadcast, television video production.  Directed a live broadcast television program of daily horse races at Harrah’s Philadelphia Racetrack and Casino, checked and switched between video sources, and was responsible for the on-air product, including camera shots and graphics, and satellite feed.  Maintained and repaired video production and video broadcast equipment and satellite equipment.  Hired, scheduled, and trained employees.  Designed and operated graphics, as well as operating timing, camera, and photo equipment for horse races. Archived races, provided racing judges playback of races in the event of an inquiry. Provided clean execution of live broadcast, and maintained overall broadcast quality of video output and satellite uplink. Prepared effects/transitions and performed switching between the different video sources – cameras, video inserts (b-roll), graphics, etc. – during live horse racing program utilizing a vision switcher and associated control room equipment. Directed camera operators, on applying the technical aspects of light, lenses, camera settings, and camera shots to achieve compelling video. Directed shots for live broadcast studio handicapping show with Handicapper. Responsible for operation and maintenance of all control room and studio equipment. Developed and document control room procedures.
